 Lesson 1- Activity 1, 2, 3
I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Understand and correctly repeat the sentences in simple communicative contexts in 
relation to the topic “our special days” in which ss ask and answer questions about 
what someone will do for a special day
- Correctly say the words and use What will you do ..? – We’ll ... to ask 
and answer questions about what someone will do for a special day;
- Enhance the correct use of What will you do ..? – We’ll ... to ask and 
answer questions about what someone will do for a special day in a freer context.
1. Knowledge/ Language focus:
- Vocabulary: on Children’s Day, on Teachers’ Day, on Sports Day event, at Mid-
Autumn Festival
- Sentence patterns: What will you do ..? – We’ll ...
2. Skills:
- Listening and speaking.
3. Quality /Attitude: 
Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. 
Educate Ss to enhance understandings of what people do on special occasions.

IV. PROCEDURE:

so that each group has equal numbers. 
- Ask the questions, e.g. “Where will you go 
at Tet?”, and allow time for pupils to think.

pictures.
- Complete four gapped exchanges with the help of picture cues.
- Sing the song What will you do on Children’s day with the correct pronunciation, 
rhythm and melody.

- Listening, writing and reading
3. Quality /Attitude: 
Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class.

group that writes the most names of fruit, 
food or drinks in the shortest time will be 
given five points / stars.

most points / stars will win the game.
